How does this all work?

Flux is a distributed network to host decentralized apps on the Flux blockchain.

The Flux network hosts apps across the world. Every app on the Flux network is replicated across every flux node to ensure that apps are always available, any where in the world. Whenever a Flux Node is used to host an app, the owner of the Node is paid in Flux coin whenever that app is accessed by another user.

We offer Flux Node Hosting. This means that we will host a flux node, and you get the Flux Coin that it produces. We will host and maintain the physical server, while you manage, and collect the profits from, the FluxOS software that is running the node.

Depending on the physical resources available on the server, and the network speed, Flux will audit the Nodes and assign them one of three tiers: Cumulus, Nimbus, or Stratus. Depending on the ranking of the node, you will earn more Flux Coin for making your node available. You simply select what tier of Node you want to host, provide the collateral flux transaction ID, and we take care of the rest.
